A museum piece of art.
Remington Standard No. 10 was a manual typewriter manufactured by Remington from 1908 until 1928. It was noted for its ruggedness and reliability, and many famous writers used it to write their works, including Henry James and Lev Tolstoy. Cesare Verona was the only Italian distributor for Remington machines.
The Remington Standard No. 10 was one of the first machines to use a visible writing system, ie a system that allowed you to see the written characters as you wrote. Before the introduction of the visible writing system, typewriters had a hidden writing system, making it difficult for the user to see the written characters while writing.
