What a beautiful piece of mechanics!
Rounded lines design from 1952 by architect and designer Marcello Nizzoli, in collaboration with engineer Giuseppe Beccio.
QZERTY keyboard type, as usual of Italian machines, as other common unique features for that age: there is no key for number 1 that is obtained using the lowercase letter l or the uppercase I; similarly there is no zero, which is obtained by typing the capital O . Such a feature was quite common in old typewriters.
This is an absolute heavy incredible durable machine. It was designed for heavy work.
