Portable typewriter produced starting from 1935.
Called also 'M2'.
An uncommon group worked on the design of the Studio 42, which lasted about 3 years, engineer Ottavio Luzzati for the mechanical part, architects Figini and Pollini and the painter Xanti Schawinsky for the bodywork. Studio 42 was released in 1935: it was the first Olivetti typewriter in the semi-standard category, intermediate between professional and portable.

Immacolate mechanical working conditions. Cleaned and sanitized.
Please note this machine is very old: scratches, bumps and a signs of oxidation represents the beauty of such beautiful object.
Original case in very good conditions: please note the closing mechanism is not working anymore.
